Privacy policy

Media AI Creation is an owner-operated media production application. This policy explains its use of Google and YouTube data. The application currently connects only a channel explicitly authorized by its owner.

Data accessed

With the channel owner's permission, the application requests YouTube read-only and YouTube video upload scopes. It reads the connected channel's identifier and basic channel information to confirm the correct destination. It can upload video files and metadata supplied or created for that channel. Google provides OAuth access and refresh tokens for this connection. The application does not request your Google password.

How data is used

Channel data and OAuth credentials are used only to operate the authorized YouTube integration: verifying the connected channel and managing video uploads. The application does not sell Google user data, use it for targeted advertising, or provide OAuth tokens to AI model providers. It does not allow other users to connect their channels through this site.

Storage, sharing, and retention

The refresh token is stored as a protected environment variable in the application's hosting service, Railway. Operational records and limited diagnostic logs may be stored by Railway. Google and YouTube process API requests under their own policies. Access is restricted to the project operator and service providers needed to run the application. The connection is retained while the owner uses the integration; when access is revoked or the project is closed, the stored token can be deleted. Platform or backup retention may apply to operational logs.

Your controls

The channel owner can revoke access at any time in Google Account third-party connections. To request access to or deletion of information held by Media AI Creation, contact david_desmarais@outlook.com. We will remove the stored OAuth credential and associated data under our control, subject to legitimate operational or legal requirements.

Security and changes

Credentials are not shown on this public website. Access to the production service and its secrets is restricted. We may update this policy as the application gains new features; material changes to how Google data is used will be disclosed here before those features are enabled.
